Park in the car park at Aiguebelle Monastery.
(S/E) With your back to the car park, turn right towards the monastery, then left onto the path that climbs steeply up to the D550.
(1) Turn left onto this road and follow it for about 200 m.
(2) Leave the road on the right and take the path uphill for about 1 km.
(3) At the junction, take the path on the left which descends and joins theGR®429.
(4) Turn right onto this path and continue to the D56.
(5) When you reach the road, turn right and follow it for about 50 m, then leave it on the right, staying on theGR®. Return to the D56, cross carefully and take the path opposite. Then turn left a few dozen metres further on, leaving the GR®.
(6) At the first junction, take the path on the right which climbs steeply towards the statue of the Virgin of the Vow. Pass to the left of a semi-buried cistern and continue to the summit of Serre de la Motte, where the statue stands.
(7) Retrace your steps.
(6) Turn right. Keep to the right at the next two junctions and rejoin theGR®429.
(8) Turn left. Once at the junction with the Combe de l'Aubagne, turn left again, leaving theGR®, to follow a yellow-marked path which descends to the D203.
(9) Turn left and follow this road for about 150 m to the next junction. Then turn right onto the path leading to Panassas, then right again onto the yellow-marked trail.
(10) Continue straight on at the junction (yellow markings), do the same at the Vernet turn-off and head towards a picnic area.
(11) Head straight on towards Réauville. Turn left at the entrance to the village, then right into Rue de la Cure.
(12) Turn right towards the headland to enjoy the view.
(13) Turn back.
(12) Continue straight on, skirting the rear of the church, then take the street on the left (Rue de Montjoyer) to leave the village, following the yellow markings. Enter the Clave woodland.
(14) At the junction, turn left then go round the field of solar panels, keeping to the left towards the Monastery of Aiguebelle. Continue to the next junction (yellow markings).
(15) Leave the marked path by turning left at the Sainte-Famille junction. Walk past the ruins of the chapel of the same name and continue straight on.
(16) Descend to the right via some very steep steps (there are ropes to hold on to) down to the river. Cross it via a concrete bridge and head back up across the field to the car park (S/E).
