Fort du Loch: A military fortification built from 1756 onwards, ten years after the English landing, it forms part of the outer defences of the port of Lorient. The fort is surrounded by a wide moat and a curtain wall pierced by barbicans. Access is controlled by a drawbridge. Inside, there are two buildings intended for troops and ammunition. This fort, built on a mound, was never used in wartime. Fort du Loch has been listed as a historic monument since 1 June 1960.

Fort Bloqué (19), built between 1747 and 1758. Its construction followed the English attack of 1746 and forms part of the system of fortifications defending the town of Lorient.

Kerroch: A small beach nestled in the cove of Kerroch harbour, facing north-west. A family-friendly beach.

Lomener (23): A charming little harbour with a beach and views of the Kerpape Centre and Groix. Shops.

Larmor-Plage Church (1506): listed as a historic monument.

A very pleasant route combining ‘land’ and ‘sea’. It takes you through pretty hamlets and past magnificent seaside scenery. We highly recommend it.
