Description of the walk

When arriving in Bouzigues from the D613, park in a car park on the right-hand side of the road, near a pharmacy and the school.

(S/E) Continue straight along the street (Avenue Alfred Bouat) towards the village centre. At the church, on the left, turn right into a small street which quickly leads to Avenue Louis Tudesq and the lakeside.

(1) Turn left onto the promenade.

(2) Continue straight ahead along the promenade, skirting the harbour and passing close to the Musée de l'Étang de Thau.

(3) Continue along the coast of the Crique de l'Angle via the Chemin du Belvédère and leave the village. Walk past the Lou Labech campsite. Further on, the path veers away from the shore and climbs to the left to join a track (Chemin du Mas d'Argent).

(4) Take this path to the left. Continue in the same direction along the street that extends from it as you head back towards the village. Go to the end of the street, ignoring all side streets.

(5) At the T-junction, turn slightly left to follow Rue de Verdun, which bends right shortly afterwards. Continue to a four-way junction.

(6) Turn right to discover the Fontaine des Aiguilles. Retrace your steps.

(6) Continue straight ahead at the crossroads. Take the second street on the right along Place Général de Gaulle.

(7) Turn right onto Rue du Four, take the second street on the left, then the first on the right onto Rue Seguin. At the end, turn left, then take the first street on the left and cross Place Général Reynes to the left. At the end, veer right, then turn right again onto Rue de la Poterne to return to the lakeside.

(2) Continue the walk to the right, in the opposite direction to the outward journey.

(1) Continue straight on for about a hundred metres.

(9) Continue straight on along the lakeside walkway to the end of the beach, a small jetty.

(8) Retrace your steps.

(9) After the police station, leave the coast and take the street on the right, Rue Saint-Nicolas, which immediately bends to the right and leads to Avenue Alfred Bouat. Turn left onto it, going in the opposite direction to your outward journey, to return to where you parked (S/E).
