(S/E) Take the path at the back of the car park. Continue until you reach the huge stone wall (firebreak) on the left. Then turn left up the slope until you reach the junction with a small path leading off to the right.
(1) Follow this path. The hike follows the lower edge of the pine plantation, then enters it slightly to the left. Stay on the yellow rectangle markings. The path joins a track, take it to the right. This track crosses another track that is more suitable for vehicles, which you should also take to the right.
(2) Below Pioch de la Barre, the road makes a sharp right turn. Stay on this road, which goes around Pioch de la Barre at a constant altitude until you reach a crossroads with several roads.
Note: you can go straight ahead, taking a steep path heading north without going around Pioch de la Barre.
(3) Continue straight ahead, following the same markings. At the next crossroads, continue straight ahead for a few dozen metres. Turn left at the next crossroads and continue for another hundred metres or so until you reach a four-way crossroads.
(4) Take the path that descends slightly to the right and passes under the high-voltage power lines. After passing them, continue straight ahead at a cistern and reach a three-way junction.
(5) Enjoy the view of the Étang de Thau lagoon, then take the path on the left. Stay on this main path until you reach the Montjas platform crossroads after passing under the high-voltage power lines again.
(6) There are many paths, but stay on the yellow markings via the second path on the right. When you reach a pylon, begin the final descent via the path that joins the stone path you took on the way there.
(1) Continue straight ahead to reach the car park next to the motocross track (S/E).
