Park in the car park at the end of the fully tarmaced forest road, which can be accessed via the village of Agay. Access via Pointe de l'Observatoire was closed during our hike.
(S/E) Head towards the sign indicating all the hiking trails and follow the one marked in yellow towards Col du Saint-Pilon.
(1) When you reach a huge cairn, continue along the path climbing to the right: there are crosses clearly visible, so it is difficult to go wrong. Continue to Col du Saint-Pilon.
(2) Follow the path opposite, marked in blue.
(3) Take the path on the right. Please note: there are also blue markings on the path going downhill. Reach the Col du Cap Roux.
(4) Continue left on the path that climbs and go to the next intersection where the Pic du Cap Roux orientation table is in sight.
(5) Climb left to reach the summit.
(6) All that's left to do is enjoy the view! Then retrace your steps back to Col du Cap Roux.
(4) Take the path downhill to the left; there are no more blue markings.
(7) Stay on the path on the right, where you will find the blue markings again. Return to Col du Saint-Pilon.
(2) Turn left and retrace your steps to return to the car park (S/E).
