Description of the route

(S/E) Leaving Delettes, we head towards Upen-d’Amont, leaving the departmental road for a country lane where a steep climb awaits us. We then turn left towards Dohem, then on to Maisnil via a country lane.

(1) After passing through Maisnil, we take a field track towards Audincthun; once past the recycling centre, we head downhill towards Dennebreucq and its sawmill.

(2) Turn right after the Riotte bridge. We arrive at Reclinghem and its famous hill, before heading down towards Bomy where, after the climb through the woods, we cross the plain leading to Enquin-les-Mines.

(3) At the second junction, we turn left towards Enguinegatte.

(4) After passing through the village, a small country lane on the left takes us back to Nielles-les-Thérouanne.

(5) There, we turn left again towards Delettes and its bell tower, which we can see in the distance (S/E).

Very hilly, so the scenery is very varied.
As the route was originally designed for mountain biking, the sections of country roads outside built-up areas (between points 3 and 4) can be dangerous on foot, so you need to stay alert.
