Start: From Irun, head towards the Aiako Harria Nature Park, wind up to the pass and descend to a large car park below a group of ruined buildings.
(S/E) At the bottom of the car park, climb in a direct line towards the ruined buildings (North).
(1) Immediately behind the buildings, fork right, skirting the walls, onto a path leading back down to the road.
(2) Cross the road to the right and climb in a straight line (East/South-East) to the right of a larch forest. Follow the PR®-GI1012 hiking trail, marked in white-red-yellow. Continue along a row of pigeon-hunting stations. Descend to join a carriage road.
(3) Follow this road to the right. Pass buildings.
(4) At the intersection, turn left onto a hiking trail that winds down the hillside. The path crosses several streams and passes several waterfalls before climbing again.
(5) At the pass, take the left-hand path (South-East), skirting a barbed-wire fence and passing close to an electricity pylon. This brings you to a lovely viewpoint over Lake Embalse de Endara.
(6) Return to the pass.
(5) Then follow the carriage road that climbs back up (North-West). Further on, the path turns North-East. Cross a picnic area. Cross the road back to the car park (S/E).
