From Murs, take the D4 towards Apt for about 3km, then park in the car park on the right-hand side of the road.
(S/E) From the car park, cross the recently renovated stone bridge opposite, following theGRP® (red and white) markings. Continue until you reach the Le Grand Rieu Sec sign.
(1) Turn left and follow the signs for Murs / La Tourbe.
(2) At La Tourbe, head towards Les Gorges de Vaumale on the right (yellow markings), continue for 700 metres and then, at a fork, take the small path on the left. 200 metres further on, a crossroads invites you to descend to the right and plunge into the Vaumale gorges.
Once at the bottom of the gorge, turn left.
(3) When you reach the Debroussède sign, turn left onto the road for 100 metres, then take a path on the right that will lead you back to a road. Follow this road to the right until you reach a departmental road (D15).
(4) Follow the yellow line to the left, then leave the road after the hamlet of Les Sautarels and take a path on the right that runs alongside a magnificent dry stone wall.
(5) When you reach the departmental road, turn right to arrive at the Les Vergiers sign, then follow the signs for Murs (straight ahead). At the Les Cairades sign, continue towards Murs. When you arrive in the village of Murs, take a short detour through the village and the castle!
(6) Take the road on the left, then turn right and follow the signs for Joucas. When you reach the Prés Longs crossroads, turn left towards Joucas/Notre Dame du Salut, then Joucas/La Rourette.
(7) When you reach La Rourette, turn left towards Lioux/Plantades via the track.
(8) At the Les Plantades junction, turn left towards Lioux/Le Rieux Sec, go up the track and head towards "Le Grand Rieu Sec".
Ignore all the paths branching off to the right and left and return to the car park where you started (S/E).
