Description of the walk

(S/E) From the car park, the route follows a mainly southwesterly direction, across St Mellan's Park, and along Laflounder Lane, to where a coastal path joins the lane.

(1) Keep on Laflounder Lane, heading southwest, to where the lane ends and joins the South West Coast Path. Walking along the cliff top path, handrailing the Cornish hedge. Where the nearby walk meets up with this waymark (E).

(2) Arriving at the Marconi Monument, with adjacent museum, (B) head north past the building. At the museum, head east along the designated footpath, which turns into an access track for the nearby properties. Nearing the end of the track, and before Poldhu Road, turn right.

(3) Cross the open meadow/field, and heading southeast

(4) Take the left where the path heads north through houses. Turn right on The Commons, a road, leading into Lender Lane, to the start (S/E).

Option (4) continue straight on the path to join Laflounder Lane, turning right to (1) and joining (E) extending the route. Sections of this walk have steps, and add 2.5 miles to the route.
