(S/E) Head back towards the buildings of the old Bech station. Just before you reach them, turn left.

Cross the old railway line, which has been converted into a cycle path, and continue straight ahead. Go up and take thefirst path on the right. Pass close to the amphitheatre.
(1) At the fork above the amphitheatre, turn right. After 250 metres, turn right to enjoy the view of the countryside. Retrace your steps and continue right on the path for 1.2 kilometres until you reach the clearing. Turn right and go through the gate. Cross the old tarmac railway line and continue to the road.
(2) Cross carefully and take the path going uphill opposite. At the top, turn right onto the old railway line. Stay on the main path until you reach the road. Take the cycle tunnel under the N11 to cross safely. Continue and, at the junction with the secondary road, continue straight ahead on the cycle path.
(3) At the house, turn left. Cross the quiet side road and continue straight ahead. Enter the forest and follow the path to the road. Go around the barrier.
(4) Cross the road carefully and turn left. Turn right onto the farm track. At the bend, go straight ahead onto the dirt track. Further on, leave the path on your right and continue along the path that turns and enters the forest. Go downhill and, 400 metres further on, pass some polishing stones. Continue downhill along the Steebaach stream until you reach the bridge, which you cross.
(5) Turn right and then immediately left. Go uphill. Atthe first path on the left, turn off. Follow the path along the rocks until you reach a forest track, which you follow to the right.
(6) At the multiple junction, take thesecond path on the right. Cross the pontoon. Go up the path and then take the stairs. The Bildchen, a large oak tree over a thousand years old, is on your right as you leave the forest. Then go back up the road and turn right. Go under the bridge. Continue straight on along Heeschbregerwee until you reach the junction.
(7) At the T-junction, go straight ahead along the path running alongside No. 38. The tarmac path quickly turns into a grassy path. Enter the forest.
(8) At the crossroads, continue straight ahead. On your left is a spring with a wash house: Le Waschbuer! The water is not drinkable! Continue along the forest path. Leave the forest and continue to the right. The path becomes tarmac and leads to a busier road. Turn left and go slightly downhill.
(9) Turn left again onto the old tarmac railway line. Follow this path with beautiful views of the village of Zittig and the valley until you come to a road, which you should cross with caution. Continue straight ahead.
(10) At the next junction, continue straight ahead. Ignore the steps on your left and enter the 300m-long Eisenbahntunnel. After exiting, ignore the path down to the right. Cross the bridge over the road and return to the old station and its car park (S/E).
