A simple and very informative hike. The interior of the crater is superb, with surprising plant and animal specimens. We did it on a sunny but not hot day. The route is very well marked on the ground, but there are no signs at the junctions; without the GPS track, we would have taken the wrong direction at a crossroads. Part of the route is a little steep, but overall it is easy, even for families.
