Walking in Nieppe through town and countryside

(S/E) From the restaurant, head towards the road and turn left towards Armentières. At the roundabout, turn right onto Avenue Jules Houcke.

(1) At the traffic lights, cross the street and head towards Rue du 8 Mai 1945.

(2) At the end of this street, at the roundabout, continue along Rue de la Lys on the right.

(3) At the next roundabout, take Chemin des Près opposite.

(4) At the end of this road, turn right to walk along the Lys.

(5) Cross the bridge and take the next right. Leave the first roundabout and join the second one at the end of Ruelle Dufour.

(6) Cross the street to reach Rue des Cigognes below. Then, at the intersection, turn right onto Rue des Cigognes and continue straight ahead.

(7) At the roundabout, keep left onto Rue des Cigognes and continue to the intersection at the end.

(8) Turn left onto Rue du Docteur Henri Vanuxeem.

(9) Just before the railway line, turn right onto Chemin du Halage.

(10) At the end of this road, turn left onto Rue des Trois Arbres.

(11) At the next street on the right, take it to follow Chemin de Steenwerck and go to the end of this path. At the intersection, take Boulevard des Anglais on the left.

(12) At the end of the street, turn right onto Route de Bailleul.

(13) At the roundabout, take Rue de Warneton on the left and at the first street on the right, turn into Rue de l'Ermitage.

(14) At the crossroads, turn left towards Chemin Courouble. On the road, turn left.

(15) At the end of this road, turn right onto Rue des Etangs.

(16) At the intersection, turn left onto the road and then take the path that runs alongside it on the right to go around the pond. Pass the car park on your left and continue straight ahead. At a small stream, first turn left then right. When you reach the path you took on the way there, turn left and take Chemin Turck again to return to the fork.

(16) Continue straight ahead to the end of the path.

(17) Turn left onto Rue d'Armentières and you will find the starting point on your left (the restaurant) (S/E).
