Start: Auzon Tourist Office car park.
Signposting: Yellow (PR®413).
(S/E) From the Tourist Office car park, take Rue des Faubourg towards the village, then turn right onto Rue des Anciens Francs.
(1) Cross Rue de Brugelet on the left and continue straight on along Rue des Anciens Francs.
(2) At the Ecomuseum, turn right onto the grassy path that climbs up and joins the road after crossing the Gaudarel.
(3) At the road, turn left. After 20m, take the first turn left then right to follow a path. Join a road and follow it to the left as far as Rizolles Bas. Then continue on to Rizolles Haut.
(4) At Rizolles Haut, at the crossroads, first turn left then right and head towards the forest. Keep straight on the path and ignore the side tracks.
(5) At a fork at the edge of a field, take the track on the left. Follow it, ignoring the side paths, until you reach a road.
(6) Cross the road and head straight on towards Escolges. At the entrance to the hamlet, turn left and continue straight on to the hamlet of Chaniat.
(7) At the entrance to Chaniat, turn right. Cross the Gaudarel stream and continue to a ruin (La Lette).
(8) At the ruin, turn left and, after 50 metres, at a fork, take the track on the left. After about 200 metres, turn right onto a path. Follow it, generally heading west.
(9) At the fork, turn left and walk past the Auzon cemetery.
(10) At the junction, turn right into Rue du 8 mai 1945. Continue straight on along Rue Notre Dame du Portail. At the junction with Rue Des Remparts, take Rue de Brugelet opposite and follow it all the way to the end.
(1) Turn right onto Rue des Anciens Francs, then turn left onto Rue des Faubourgs to reach the Tourist Office car park (S/E).
