Park in the Route des Macarons car park (D604), just before the Pont de la Veirière bridge, coming from Haut Sartoux. There is plenty of space and the ground is well stabilised.
(S/E) Follow theGR®653Awestwards (red and white markings) and walk along the Brague river on your right. Stay on the marked path for about 1 km, more or less close to the river.
(1) At the intersection, turn left with the GR®. Immediately ignore a path on the right and then another on the left. Go up the Bruguet valley. Cross the river on a small stone bridge and continue up the valley (follow marker 358: Chemin du Bruget). Join another path and follow it to the left until you reach a nearby junction with a DFCI track.
(2) Follow the track to the left. After about 150 m and before a barrier, take another DFCI track on the right. Go straight up and reach a junction (barrier on the left).
(3) Take the dirt track opposite. This is the Piste de la Beguine, which descends slightly.
(4) At the next crossroads, turn left onto the Calaque track. Ignore a turn-off on the left and descend to rejoin the Brague. Marker 360 Sentier de la Brague on the left.
(5) Turn right and follow the river on your left.
(6) Cross the bridge over the Brague, immediately turn right and continue along the river. Cross it again via a concrete bridge. Marker 360 Sentier de la Brague - Biot
(7) Continue along Chemin des Moulins, still following the Brague, this time on your left. The path is narrow, so be careful not to slip and get your feet wet. Cross a track and continue to follow the course of the Brague.
(1) At the intersection you took on the way there, continue straight along the river to reach the Pont de la Veirière (A/D).
