Park on Rue de la Vigne Haute in Valbonne in the P4 Garbegaïre car park on Route des Dolines, next to the Bermond Farm.
(S/E) Return to the start on Rue de la Vigne Haute via the esplanade in front of Ferme Bermond. Take the paved path on the right which descends alongside the fence and leads to a crossroads.
(1) Turn left onto the path that runs alongside the primary school until you reach a road.
(2) Cross it and take the dirt track opposite that leads downhill (sign with a map of the Parc des Bouillides).
You will arrive at a more developed area with a signpost.
(3) Follow the signs for "Garbegaïre Pin Motard", then cross the footbridge over the Bouillide immediately afterwards. Continue right along the path, following the Bouillide. Pass the concrete footbridge on your right and emerge onto Chemin de la Source, with a building on your right bearing the sign “La Source”. Turn right, cross the road and take the cycle path that passes under the road bridge, heading towards Valmasque and Fontmerle. Continue along the dirt track, which then runs alongside the road below and follows a wire fence. You will reach a fork in the path.
(4) Turn right, quickly rejoining the Bouillide and following it for a long stretch until you reach a small pond.
(5) Continue along the path with the golf course on the other side of the Bouillide (yellow markings). You’ll reach the Route d’Antibes where the path turns left; continue to follow the yellow markings. You will reach a crossroads near a car park with a sign for “Parc de la Valmasque, La Valmasque Est” and, on the other side of the Route d’Antibes, another large car park, at the entrance to which there is a very large sign for “Sophia Antipolis”.
(6) Continue to the left, following the yellow markings. Move slightly away from the road and then walk alongside a football stadium below.
(7) Continue along the path until you come to a track.
(8) Cross it, and follow a circular route to the left to get closer to the road, arriving at a track and a car park under the trees.
(9) Cross the track and continue straight ahead, following the yellow markings. Take an easy descent to reach the crossroads you passed on the way out.
(4) Turn right and follow the route taken on the way out in the opposite direction to return easily to the car park at Ferme Bermond (S/E).
