Starting point: Coubisou village hall (car park, water point and toilets). Information board in the car park
Yellow signposts. If you come to a junction with another marked route, follow the "Rando 3 R" indicated on the sign.
(S/E) Head south towards the village centre.
(1) At the town hall, turn left, leaving the war memorial and the church on your right. Then turn left again to go under the bridge. After about 100 metres, cross the D 586 and you will immediately come to another junction.
(2) Turn left into Impasse du Rial. At the end, continue along a path towards La Malbrousserie. Pass the houses on your right, return to the tarmac road and, when the road turns sharply to the right, continue straight ahead on a path that leads to Dourieux.
(3) Continue along the path and walk alongside the Ruisseau de Coubisou stream on your right. Pass a hut (Grèzes) and continue to a small bridge.
(4) Cross the bridge over the stream and climb the forest path that branches off to the left, above the Reboulat stream. At the crossroads (elevation 511), turn right to descend towards the stream.
(5) You can easily ford the stream and climb up the path. You will reach a track and follow it to the right. You will remain more or less on the hillside and continue south-west to reach a place called Le Bousquet, which you will cross.
(6) At the end of the hamlet, take thefirst path on the right. You will come to a tarmac road and follow it to the left. Ignore a road on the right and you will soon come to another intersection.
(7) Take a stony path on the right and stay on this main path, heading south. Pass afirst path on your right (elevation 459), then take a sharp left turn and descend to the hamlet of Galamans.
(8) Turn right onto the tarmac road that runs alongside the stream. At the next junction, keep to the right, then at another junction (elevation 383), continue straight ahead on the road, still alongside the stream. This will take you to the village of Nadaillac.
(9) At the entrance to the village, turn right onto Route de Porties. After a sharp right-hand bend, you will reach an intersection. Turn left at an acute angle towards Jeunières. Ignore a road on the right and then one on the left.
(10) At the fork, turn right onto Impasse de Jeunières. You will arrive at a cattle park and continue along a grassy path for 300 metres. At thefirst fork (elevation 456), take the left-hand path and descend to Pègues. Then turn left towards Labade.
(11) At the crossroads that you will soon come to, go straight ahead to cross the hamlet of Labade. You will pass above a rural lodge via a grassy path. You will begin a descent on a path with a beautiful view of the village of Coubisou. You will come to a road and follow it to the left. Walk a few dozen metres and you will find a cross on your right.
(12) Turn right towards Le Tournal and follow the road to the village.
(2) At the crossroads you took on the way out, turn left and you will immediately come to another crossroads. Follow the D 586 to the right. You will pass by the church and arrive at the town hall.
(1) Continue straight ahead on the road to quickly return to the car park where you started (S/E).
