A very beautiful hike towards the Three Peaks starting from Val Fiscalina. Access by car to the starting point is easy. The car park may be half full by 8 am. You reach the Three Peaks via the Locatelli mountain hut, renowned for offering the finest view of the area. Other walks in the area
A circular in the Tre Cime di Lavaredo
An extraordinary hike that will take you to the foot of the famous Tre Cime di Lavaredo in the Dolomites, in the heart of the southern Eastern Pre-Alps, offering views of numerous peaks and lakes.
The Tre Cime tour starting from the Auronzo Refuge
Tour of an iconic site in the Dolomites, the Tre Cime. A splendid view of the Dolomites and the Three Peaks. Access is subject to a fee.
The Tour des Tre Cime (the 3 peaks)
You will drive around the famous Tre Cime massif, neither too far nor too close, so you can admire it from all angles. Part of the route is very quiet, even in summer. No difficulty, just pure pleasure!
Tre Cime di Lavaredo
A major tourist attraction... definitely worth a visit!!!
But now you have to remember to book your parking space in advance (30 euros) and, if you don't get a space in the upper car park and you're not a keen walker, it's 10 euros per person for the bus.
It's a steep climb! There's a short, fairly strenuous section for about 15 minutes near the end of the climb to the refuge. You can take a 10-minute shortcut along the road to avoid having to go back up if you're tired.
The problem is that once you get to the top, you're a bit too tired to go around the "Tre Cime". It is possible to push on to another viewpoint towards the more rugged mountains opposite.
Also worth noting: take 50p and £1 coins for the toilets.
Small Lake Tassenbach (East Tyrol)
A short, peaceful walk around Lake Tassenbach, popular with locals. The path first runs between the lake and a small river. You will see a few birds and ducks, which are not shy at all (ideal for children).
Bonacossa trail starting from Lake Misurina in the Dolomites (Italy)
A beautiful circular route in the Cadin di Misurina massif, starting from the lake, which takes you to the wilder part of the massif to the Fonda Savio Refuge, with a beautiful view of the Tre Cime along the way.
Please note: there are a few difficult sections, but they are generally well equipped. Be sure to read the comments in the practical information section.
Lago Di Sorapiss Circular Route
A spectacular journey into the heart of the Dolomites. This superb hike takes you to the turquoise waters of Mac de Sorapiss. The main effort is on the outward leg, with a 600-metre climb. The rest of the route is accessible, although the return path (via trail 216) features several vertiginous sections, equipped with metal steps and safety cables. Extra caution is required on these exposed sections, but the view is well worth the effort. A true classic that leaves no one indifferent!
