Park at the start of the wide path that branches off to the right after the bridge over the Ruisseau de la Boirette. You can also drive up the path to the first left-hand bend, where there are a few clearings for parking several vehicles in the shade.
(S/E) Walk up this path towards the north until you reach a trail on the left (signposted "barrages") just before you cross a stream.
(1) Take this path on the left, which heads south before turning north-west and climbing quite steeply until you reach a construction track, which you take on the right. You will soon come to a fork.
(2) Leave the track opposite, which runs parallel to the thalweg, and turn right to follow the ridge, which you will climb steadily on its eastern side, still on a construction track, which appears to have been built fairly recently but is little used. When you reach the top, you will come to a crossroads with a path coming from the Col de la Péyère (signpost).
(3) Take the very good path/track that climbs slightly to the left (towards "Les Sucettes") before descending gently down the side of the mountain. At one point, you will have your first partial view of Les Sucettes from above.
(4) About 1 km after the pass, leave this gentle slope and take a good path (signpost) that descends quite steeply for 500 m before meeting a good track that you take on the right, descending gently until you reach Les Sucettes de Borne after fording the Ruisseau de Puscle.
(5) Descend the track on the left to admire the other magnificent vertical rock formations, at least as far as the culvert that marks the start of the path to Borne.
(6) Turn around.
(5) Continue straight ahead on the track, which moves away from the stream.
(7) Just before crossing a stream, take a very good path that climbs to the right (signpost "Col de la Péyère"). Shortly before the pass, at a place called Piégu, rejoin a good forest track and follow it to the pass.
(8) Avoid the path that branches off to the right (signpost "Glandage"), which would take you back to point 3, and begin the descent opposite on this same track to quickly reach a fork. Leave the branch that climbs slightly to the left and continue on the track that descends gently to the right and takes you back to your starting point (S/E).
