Park about fifty metres before the renovated Rigade farm, at the side of the road (space for two to three cars).
(S/E) The path begins at right angles to the road (north-east) as a grassy track through a field; it then becomes clearly marked as it turns into a lovely sunken path that descends steeply in places to the Ruisseau de Massacre. Cross the stream and climb up the opposite side to the top of the ridge.
(1) Turn left onto the path that descends along the ridge (a small wooden structure resembling a chapel, with a statuette of a priest). At the bottom of the slope, the path joins a ford.
(2) Do not cross the Ruisseau de Massacre, but keep to its right, continuing along a more or less marked grassy track, and head up to the D40, crossing it with care.
(3) Carry on straight ahead, still following the stream, until you reach a wide track on your right.
(4) Turn onto this track, which climbs straight across the fields towards Régagnou Farm. Pass the farm, veering slightly to the right, continuing uphill until you reach a tarmac road, which you take to the right. It runs alongside a wooded area on the left and joins a junction with a wide track coming from the left.
(5) Take the road on the right, passing in front of the Razat farm, and continue to the next junction with the D40.
(6) Cross it carefully and continue straight ahead along the ridge road, passing the Matet, Bordeneuve, Bellevue, Chaussas and Camaret farms. Carry on for a further 300 m or so past the last of these until you reach the left-hand bend.
(7) Leave the road and take the track on the right, which leads back to the original junction from the outward journey.
(1) Turn left and, following the path in the opposite direction to the outward journey, return to the car park (S/E).
