Parking is available in the large car park opposite the bus stop at La Gastaude.
(S/E) Take the dirt track that leads back towards Aubagne and runs parallel to the D44 (Route d'Eoures).
When you reach the pass, cross the Chemin du Ruissatel (tarmac road) and take the dirt track opposite towards Font de Mai. Descend to a tarmac road, turn left and follow the yellow markings. You will reach
the La Font de Mai estate.
Enter the estate and take the track opposite the gate towards La Font de Mai. Here you will find a crossroads of paths.
(1) Turn right, passing in front of a large farmhouse with a cedar tree. Continue west through the heath. You will come to a fork with a sign: Limite de zone de dérogation.
(2) Turn left. Further on, the track widens and joins another track.
(3) Take it to the right, climbing towards the Col d'Aubignane. At the crossroads with a large well, turn onto the track on the left marked in yellow. Further on, cross a track, take it on the right and follow the pale blue markings. Cross a pass. Opposite you are the Saint Esprit bars. Descend and you will come to a crossroads with yellow signs. Turn left, following the pale yellow markings, and you will reach Ferme d'Angèle.
(4) Head south-west, taking care not to follow the path along the fields on the right, but the one slightly above. Follow the pale blue markings.
Turn right at the fork onto the path that continues to be marked in pale blue. You will reach the summit, where there is a beautiful arch.
(5) Retrace your steps in the opposite direction, passing Angèle's farm to return to the crossroads you passed on the way there.
(3) Continue to the right. Go through a gate and follow this path (track then tarmac) to a crossroads to reach a crossroads at the Ferme restaurant.
(6) Continue along Chemin de la Font de Mai. Then turn left onto the pale blue marked trail. Shortly afterwards, you will come to the initial crossroads you passed on the way there.
(1) Turn right and retrace your steps to return to the bus stop or the Gastaude car park (S/E).
