The Buzon Viaduct

(S/E) Go up Rue du Béal, then follow the second road on the right. This road is lined with oak trees.

(1) Follow it until you reach a tarmac road (Chemin des Labours).

(2) This road runs alongside a housing estate. Follow it until it joins Chemin de Hauteville. Turn right onto this road and continue to the small roundabout.

(3) Continue straight ahead on the street, then take a long left turn and, at the second turn, take a dirt track. Continue straight ahead until you reach the Vial farm crossroads.

(4) Take the second right onto a wide path which is the old railway line that was supposed to link Gap to La Mure via Champsaur. You will arrive at a crossroads near a small bridge.

(5) Continue straight ahead to the viaduct. Please note: it is forbidden to venture onto the viaduct, which is closed for safety reasons.

(6) Turn around and retrace your steps to the previous crossroads.

(5) Just before the small bridge, climb up to the left, then descend the path opposite, through the woods.
Follow the path until you reach a small road.

(7) This is Chemin de l'Oratoire. Follow it to the left until you reach the junction marked with a small cross.

(8) Take the small road on the right, which turns into a carriageway and joins Chemin de Hauteville. Continue straight ahead and descend to the starting point, following the outward route in reverse (S/E).

Access:
From Gap, head to the Cedar Roundabout and follow signs for Grenoble. Turn right towards Romette. The starting point is at the intersection of Rue Villarobert and Rue du Béal.
