In Dienne, park to the east of the village in a small car park that serves as a meeting point for paragliders.
(S/E) Join the main road (D680) and turn right. At the junction with the D23 (Route de Collange), continue right on the D680 towards Murat. Cross the Santoire and continue along the road through the hamlet of Le Peuch. Keep to the left-hand side of the road, as the shoulder is wider there. Pass the picnic area.
(1) Turn onto the first road on the right, towards La Cheyrelle "Maison du XXème siècle". Pass behind this small castle with its beautiful green glazed tiles. The road turns into a track.
(2) Ignore a path on the right and continue uphill.
(3) At the crossroads, you will see an information board for paragliders. Turn right and follow the greenPR®® signs. Continue climbing along this wide path.
(4) At a fork, continue to the right towards the Rocher de Laqueuille. Climb this path to the pylon to enjoy a panoramic view of the Santoire valleys to the north-east and the Impradine valleys to the south-west, as well as the village of Dienne at the foot of the Plateau de Limon.
(5) Descend the path you took on the way up for about a hundred metres and look out for a yellow marker on the right, in the moorland. Follow this marker to the cross overlooking the village of Dienne. From here, you can enjoy a bird's eye view of the valley. The surrounding moorland is a beautiful spot for a picnic.
(6) Return to the path, noting a peat bog on your right. Take the path you took on the way up on the right.
(4) Turn right to descend towards Laqueuille Haute (sign). You are now following green and yellow markings.
(7) At the Laqueuille Haute farm, turn right towards Laqueuille Basse. Continue along the small road that descends.
(8) At Laqueuille Basse, continue straight ahead, cross the hamlet following the green and yellow markings to reach Dienne. Cross the Santoire and about 500 metres further on, you will find the car park (S/E).

A pleasant, well-explained route with superb panoramic views of the Col de Cabre, Puy Mary and Dienne.
