Access to the lake car park via Route de Bourg d'Iré.
(S/E) Turn right and walk along the left side of the lake until you reach a path on the left, before the leisure centre.
(1) Turn left and you will come to the D81, which you should follow to the right until you reach a roundabout.
(2) Turn opposite, into Rue Eugène Chauvière. Turn left at the first path, walk past the presbytery and the Salle Marcel Vaslin and the boules de fort games. Cross Rue Jeanne d'Arc and take Impasse Françoise Thourault to Rue du Champs du Moulin.
(3) Turn left, ignore a street on the right and, shortly afterwards, between two houses, turn right onto a path between two thuja hedges. This leads to Rue de la Roche Beaulieu, which you follow to the left for about 50 metres.
(4) Turn right onto a tarmac road between two hedges of fir trees and follow this road uphill to Lotissement des Vignes, which leads to Chemins des Vignes.
(5) Turn right onto Rue de la Planche and follow it to the left until you reach the Roulerie crossroads (cross).
(6) Turn right onto the path towards La Gaudinière and Le Bois Brûlé. Continue until you reach the statue of the Virgin Mary.
(7) Take the shared path on the right, go around the water treatment plant and, at the roundabout, turn right until you reach a street on the right.
(8) Turn onto it, immediately turn left, and follow it. Pass a cemetery and arrive at a roundabout on the D81.
(9) Follow it to the right for about 100 metres and turn right onto a path. Continue to the entrance of the Château des Hommeaux.
(10) Turn left, cross the D81 carefully , and continue along Rue Chevalier d'Avoysnes, which runs alongside a secondary school and then the Maurice Gouraud Sports Hall. Continue to the bend in the road.
(11) Turn right onto the avenue lined with umbrella pines and follow it straight ahead until you reach the D203.
(12) Turn right, follow this road, walk alongside the gardens, and turn left to return to the car park near the lake (S/E).
