The walk starts at Aquapol, but you can also start from the Mairie de Montrouge metro station or the Barbara station.
(S/E) Take Avenue Henri Ginoux towards Bagneux. After the Barbara metro station, take Avenue de Stalingrad to reach Fort de Montrouge.
(1) Head towards the Bagneux swimming pool, continuing on to the Lucie Aubrac station. Take Avenue Henri Barbusse, then after 150m, turn left onto Voie René Rousseau (between a block of flats and the sports ground). Then turn right and immediately left, and follow Allée Maurice Langlet. Exit through the small gate and take Rue des Meuniers on the left, then the first right (Villa des Iris). At the end, take Avenue Albert Petit on the left and immediately turn right (Rue de Buttes). At the end, take Rue des Blains on the right and immediately turn left (Rue Blaise Pascal). After 100m, take the path on the right which leads into Parc François Mitterrand.
(2) After 100 m, turn left and take the stairs. Walk back down to the centre of the park and head right. As you leave the park, take the passage between the building and Rue des Pichets and go down the stairs. Take Rue des Tertre on the right, then turn left (Rue de la Fontaine). Be careful, it’s quite steep. At the roundabout, take the second left (Rue de Bagneux) to enter Sceaux. Walk up the street to Avenue Georges Clémenceau. Take the fourth right (Chemin de Paris) and at the end continue along the Sentier de Paris, which crosses over the railway line.
Head up Avenue Carnot and continue straight on along Rue de Seignelay. At the end of the street, turn right and then immediately left to enter Parc de Sceaux.
(3) Take the path that branches off at a 45° angle to the left and walk along the left side of the ponds. Head towards the Stables and continue to the Orangery.
(4) Head towards the Château and then take the Allée de la Duchesse on the left to reach the Cascades.
(5) Continue along the waterfalls to the Bassin de l'Octogone, where you can see the geyser.
(6) Carry on and turn left after the second statue of deer, continue along the Allée Bossue and go to the end of the Grand Canal.
(7) Continue along the canal, then after the Plaine de Châtenay, turn left towards the Bosquet Nord to admire the Japanese cherry trees.
(8) Carry on; at the roundabout, take the small path on the right to reach the Plaine des Quatre Statues.
(9) Turn left, then right, and leave the park through the small gate on the left. Cross the road and take the Coulée Verte on the right.
(10) At the bridge that crosses over a number of railway lines, cross the bridge and turn immediately right to continue along the Coulée Verte. At the Châtillon-Montrouge metro station, continue to the left, go under the bridge, then turn right and take the path leading to Rue Chopin, then turn right. Then take Avenue Jean Jaurès to the square and head towards Parc Jean-Loup Metton.
(11) Then cross the Square des États-Unis and head towards the Town Hall. Follow Rue Gabriel Péri to the left of the Church of Saint-Jacques-le-Majeur, then turn right onto Avenue Henri Ginoux to reach Aquapol (S/E).
