Description of the walk

Park in the car park at the Plaine de Jeux de Peville.

(S/E) The entrance to the Parc de la Chartreuse is on Rue de Péville. You’ll also find a playground and a football pitch there. Turn right and take a wide left-hand bend to reach a large junction of footpaths.

(1) Take the path on the right, then turn right to reach the entrance to the Fort de la Chartreuse quite easily.

(2) Carry on straight ahead to reach the edge of the woods, where you’ll find a lovely viewpoint over the city of Liège.
