Park at the Croix du Ban, on the grassy area at the edge of the D20. This is located at the western exit of Blacé in the direction of Vaux-en-Beaujolais.
(S/E) Take the Route de Vaux-en-Beaujolais downhill for about 500 m until you reach a path.
(1) Descend to the right along this path for about 300 m.
(2) Turn left onto a flat path at a large tree. Continue to the Sovarin stream, passing a gate in the middle of nowhere. Cross the Sovarin and turn left.
(3) Go up to the right along an old, wide, concrete vineyard path which, after a hairpin bend, turns into a pleasant, wide trail.
(4) After a pine forest, turn right and join the road, cross it and follow a faint track to a wide vineyard path.
(5) Go up to the left through the vineyards, then take the less steep path on the right.
(6) Continue left, then right along the gently sloping path, cross a small wood and join a wider path at the edge.
(7) Turn left, then right after about 100 metres.
(8) Take the well-marked path on the left, which leads smoothly to the summit ridge.
(9) Continue south on the path, which is gently sloping then flat, offering a view to the west. Reach the large five-way crossroads at Col de Failly.
(10) Take the path on the left, heading east, which descends to Crêt Néron, where the "Au fil des arbres" tree-top adventure park is located.
(11) From there, continue straight downhill without any problems until you reach the D20.
(12) Cross carefully to take the vineyard path opposite and return to the Croix du Ban (S/E).
