(S/E) At the start, head south on Rue Sans Nom, crossing Avenue de la Mairie (D19a) and turn left before the bridge to reach a fork in the road.
(1) Turn right, continue along the route under the trees and, at the end, turn right at thefirst vineyard to reach the old Voie du Tacot.
(2) Turn left onto this road and continue to the entrance to Saint-Julien. Cross the village, passing in front of the village hall and continuing to the end of the boules court, then turn left after the boules court.
(3) Then turn right and cross a small metal bridge, cross a first road, then the Route du Beaujolais (D35) and continue opposite on the Voie du Tacot. You will come to a crossroads with a road on the left.
(4) Turn left onto this road to reach the perpendicular Route de Chambely. Follow it to the left, pass Le Marverand, leave a path on your right and look for another path on your right a little further on.
(5) Head back up towards Grammont, turning right to walk between the vineyards. Continue straight ahead until you reach the edge of the village. A few metres before Grammont, turn left to join the Route de Saint-Julien (D76). Turn right and walk 200 metres along this road, then turn right again onto a path and then left onto a track at Les Vierres. You will rejoin the D76.
(6) Turn right at the road, then turn right again onto the path between the house and the vineyards. Cross a stream via a small bridge in a small wood and zigzag along the path between the vineyards to reach a small road (Impasse Du Château Bleu). Follow it to the left for 100 metres, then turn right and cross the vineyards. When you reach the T-junction, turn left onto Route de Saint-Julien.
(7) Cross the road to take Chemin de la Rando, which further on turns 90° to the left (second junction) and joins a road. Go up Route du Peintre on the right until you reach a crossroads on Route des Vernes.
(8) Cross Route des Vernes and continue straight ahead through the vineyards. After turning left, right, then left again, join the Route de Bellevue transversale.
(9) Turn left, then right at the crossroads. As you climb Mont Joly, enjoy views of northern Beaujolais and Mont Brouilly. After crossing Mont Joly, you will have a beautiful view of the village of Salles Arbuissonnas. Arrive at the reservoir.
(10) Continue straight ahead, passing the beautiful Château du Domaine de Champ-Renard. At the road, turn right and continue for a few metres until you reach the Blacé footpath route junction.
(11) Turn left onto Route de la Croix Polage and continue to the roundabout at the town hall. Turn left towards the village hall (Avenue de la Mairie) and return to the car park (S/E).
