Cross the village of Villemagne-l'Argentière via the D922 towards Graissessac and park in the car park located at the side of the road about 1500m higher up.
(S/E) From the car park, continue along the D922 road for about 100 metres and follow the signs forthe GR®7.
Cross the stream via the Pont du Diable bridge, then turn left once you reach the other bank and continue until you reach a road.
(1) When you reach the road, turn right towards the village of Lagure.
(2) At the intersection, leave the road and take the narrow path directly opposite. Climb up to the houses on your right. Continue for about 100 metres.

(6) After the two hairpin bends, take the road on the left to reach the village of Boussagues below.
(7) At the entrance to the village, there is a small garden on the right with tables where you can stop for a picnic. Continue towards the village.
(8) Don't miss the village centre, passing by the Bailly house that belonged to Toulouse-Lautrec. Leave the village, still following theGR®7markings.
(9) After 500 metres, leave theGR®7and take the cement track on the right that goes uphill. Continue on this road for about 2.5 kilometres.
(10) Leave the cherry orchards on your right and take the path on the left that leads to the heights of the village of Lagure, which you already passed through on the way there.
(11) Leave the path and take the small road on the left. Head towards the centre of the village.
(2) Take the same route back to reach the Devil's Bridge and the car park (S/E).
A very pleasant walk. The Visorando GPS app is really useful. Note that at the Clairac cross, you should take the path on the left marked by a cross!!, leaving the GR7 as indicated. You arrive at the heights of Boussagues, which are worth a leisurely stroll; we bumped into a few tourists there.
but the markings are no longer visible;
this is not a big deal with a map and compass, plus it is located on major trails. Impossible to get lost!
