Starting from Vernazza, the walk passes through San Bernardino before reaching the ridge at Sella della Cigoletta, then descends to Corniglia, the only village in the Cinque Terre not overlooking the sea. After visiting this unique village, the return to Vernazza follows the magnificent coastal path (SVA).
