(S) From the station, take Rue Alphonse Jacques alongside the tracks. Cross the N686 with care and continue along Rue de La Chapelle until you reach Rue du Petit-Thier.
(1) Take Rue du Petit-Thier; at the bottom of the stairs, turn left, then take the pedestrian crossing and turn right towards Rue de Tri-Renard, then go up the stairs. Follow the street alongside the railway tracks, then cross the Géronstère terminal.
(2) Cross the road to take Rue Berthelot Deschamps. Pass three streets on your right, then turn left, heading due north towards Rue de la Sauvenière (N62).
(3) First turn left then right with care on this street, then follow the Pre-Ravel 44 for approximately 4 km. After passing the tennis courts, leave one street on your left. Cross Chemin Soyeureux.
(4) Turn slightly left onto the small path to the right of the house. Cross a stream and, at the second fork, turn left. rejoin the Chemin Soyeureux. Continue to the right. Cross the Route du Lac. Continue straight ahead with the lake on your left. This takes you almost all the way round the lake.
(5) Head up to the right of the hut until you reach the Balmoral orientation table.
(6) Orientation table and viewpoint over Lake Warffaaz. Continue to the left, along the road.
Cross the road with care and carry on on the other side.
(7) Viewpoint overlooking the town of Spa. Continue to the right, heading due north; north-west.
(8) At the junction, turn right at the concrete post onto Rue du Jeu de Paume. Cross Avenue Léopold II (N685) with care. Continue straight ahead.
(9) Turn left at the concrete post markedGR®, continuing along the Chemin de Frahinfaz. At the junction, take thesecond right. At the next junction, continue straight ahead.
(10) At the next fork, turn left, heading due south.
(11) Once you’re back on the Promenade des Français, turn left, pass the laundry museum, then turn right through the park of the Maison de la Reine Marie-Henriette to reach the (S/E).
