Description of the walk

Easy parking on the square opposite Notre-Dame Church and the Chevallier-Debeausse Foundation (Child Protection Centre).

(S/E) Head towards the village centre, cross the Loir and the square (baker’s), then follow the road to the right towards Saumeray.

(1) On leaving the village, take the path on the right between the pétanque court and a branch of the river.

(2) At the end of this path, take the footbridge leading to the rear of the foundation, then follow the path between the branch of the Loir and the pond, where you can watch the birds.

(3) There are two options here (see practical information). Then take the footbridge to cross the river and reach the road. Follow it straight on to return to the village.
