The starting point is on the edge of the Mentaxuri road, just before the Saint-Pierre-d'Irube exit sign.
(S/E) Leave the car park, turn right immediately and take the path that branches off to the left towards the south-west.
The path winds through the forest until it crosses a power line.
(1) Cross under the line, take a wide path on the left to pass under the line again.
The path winds between two wooded areas until it approaches a house on the edge of the Route des Cimes.
(2) Turn left onto a grassy path heading north, pass under a power line and you will come out onto Chemin d'Artague.
(3) Turn right onto Route des Cimes. Take Route des Cimes to the left for 50 metres, then immediately turn right onto the D257 towards Mouguerre for another 50 metres.
(4) Turn left onto the gravel path. Pass a reservoir and then an orientation table.
Continue north-west until you reach a Y-junction.
(5) Turn right, heading due north until you reach a group of houses.
(6) Turn left to rejoin the Mentaxuri road. Turn left for 50 metres and then right to return to the car park (S/E).
