Description of the walk

Start from the car park at the Miléade holiday village.

(S/E) Leave the car park and join the Route du Sancy, which you should follow to the left and then straight on.

(1) Leave the pond on your left and continue to the junction with the Route de Besse.

(2) Turn right, then keep to the right until you reach the footpath.

(3) Take the footpath on the right and walk uphill to the Grande Waterfall.

(4) Turn back, follow the same path as on the way there and continue to the crossroads by the pond.

(1) Turn right and walk round the pond to return to the Route du Sancy.

(1) Turn right and return to the starting point (S/E).

This route crosses the Chastreix-Sancy and/or Chaudefour Valley nature reserves. Dogs are not allowed, even on a leash, except on theGR® 30 marked trails.
