Park at La Gachetière.
(S/E) Take the stony path heading north-north-west. As you approach a wood, the path turns east-north-east.
(1) Cross the road and continue along the path which climbs through the meadows behind the small chalet. Turn right to reach Montgiraud.
(2) At Montgiraud, turn left and follow the path which veers to the right and passes behind a house.
(3) At the crossroads, take the road straight ahead and pass through the hamlet of Chantacros. Continue along a path, ignoring a path coming from the left and then one from the right.
(4) At the fork, take the path on your right that climbs towards the woods. Cross the woods heading north-east.
(5) At the hamlet of Red Cross, head due east along the path opposite, which will take you directly to the White Cross.
(6) At the White Cross, turn onto the path on the right which leads into the woods. At a fork, head slightly to the left.
(7) At the fork, take the path on your left which will take you back to the Red Cross.
(5) Take the same path as on the way out to return to the car park (S/E).
