Park in the car park near Nandy church.
(S/E) At the start, we will follow aPR® trail, taking advantage of the signposting. Exit via Rue Neuve (opposite the vehicle access to the car park) and turn right. When you reach Rue d'Arqueil, turn left until you reach Rue de la Poste. Then turn right onto Rue de l'Etang. Here we leave the PR®. Turn right again until you reach the pond and follow the small path on the left that runs alongside it.
(1) At the end of the pond, cross the grassy area. For those who have brought them, there is the option of playing a few games of table tennis on a concrete table. Cross the nearby street and continue along the houses until you reach the D50. Approach the junction with the N446 on the left, then cross the D50.
Enter the forest via the diagonal path (between plots 44 and 45). Follow this path for about 1 km until you reach the Grand Veneur crossroads, where you will find a PR®.
(2) Take the Route de Corbeil at the Forêt d'Arqueil at 135° (between plots 29B and 11B). After about 200m, turn right (follow thePR® near the fitness trail). Continue to the Route Tournante.
(3) Turn left (still following thePR®). Continue along this lane until you reach the N446 (leave thePR® at the Carrefour du Roi).
(4) Just before reaching the N446, take a small path on the left that leads to a car park. Cross the N446 and take the small road to the right of plot 35. As soon as possible, take the dirt track that runs alongside the road. At a small crossroads, continue straight on along the Ravin du Gouffre path. After about 1 km, you will reach theGR®2, which you will follow for a while.
(5) Follow theGR® straight ahead. At the next crossroads, follow theGR® which turns left. A little further on, there is a sharp right-hand bend, then theGR® loops around before rejoining a semi-tarmac road.
(6) Follow it with the houses below. A little further on, if the weather is favourable, take the option that descends towards the Seine (as on the map), otherwise continue straight ahead. The two paths meet at the corner of the wall surrounding the Pavillon Royal.
(7) There, turn right (if you are coming from the banks of the Seine) or continue straight ahead (if it was not possible to descend towards the river) along a partly paved alleyway that will take you to a road running alongside the Seine, which will lead you to Seine Port.
At the entrance to Seine Port, be careful as theGR® markings are not regular. Continue to Rue Suzanne Ruelle.
(8) Turn right towards the Seine, continue along Rue Dejazet, then turn right into Rue de la Seine. A little further on, there is a beautiful open space with several benches where you can enjoy a pleasant picnic.
From this area, turn back and continue along Rue de la Seine. This will take you back to the D50.
(9) Cross the road and cross the square to the left. Turn right almost immediately onto Rue de la Vénétie, cross the small square and take a path that leads to the road coming down from the town hall.
From there, theGR® markings return to normal.
Cross the road and take the path along the walls. A little further on, take a path on the left that climbs slightly. At the end of Rue de la Belle Jambe, turn left.
At the end of Rue Bernardie, turn right for 20 metres, then turn sharply right onto a narrow path. At the end, turn right onto Chemin de la Porte Jaune until you reach the main road (Rue de Melun).
(10) Turn left for about 100 metres and then left again onto Chemin du Moulin Neuf.
Go down the path and turn right after the mill. TheGR® follows the meadows and then crosses the forest to Noisement (be careful, the path breaks off at the pumping station below).
(11) At Noisement, turn sharply right downhill. At the small river, continue on theGR® (ignore thePR® on the left which goes directly to Savigny).
TheGR® first climbs through the last houses of the village before reaching the fields.
(12) As you approach the radio antennas, theGR® turns left in the middle of the fields. Continue until you reach the wall of a large property in St-Leu. Go around it by turning right, then left, then left again. At the outbuildings, turn right then left.
(13) At the next crossroads, leave theGR® and turn left onto thePR®3, which takes you back to Savigny. Pass the pumping station and then the pony club. Cross the fields to reach the N446.
(14) Cross it and head towards Savigny. At the lake, turn left and pass in front of the Ecomuseum. Continue straight ahead, then turn right to return to Rue Grande.
(15) Turn left, a little further on cross Rue Montbreau and turn into Ruelle des Pays Bas. Follow the Ru to the wall of Château de Nandy.
(16) Turn left, then right at the next road, cross it and continue to the car park (S/E) a few dozen metres further on.
