Departure from the car park of the A Mares restaurant
(S/E) With your back to the car park, head towards the beaches of Frailes and Palombina and pass two crossroads. At the third intersection, turn left towards the beaches. Go to the other side to continue towards the point.
(1) Take the path that climbs to the left before the port facilities. The path is well marked, but quite grassy and not mowed. Follow the white wires/cables that frame it and keep you away from the cliff. You will come to a fork.
(2) Turn left, following the markings (white plastic wires). At the end, join the street, walking alongside the beach bars and the GR®204.
(3) Keep to the right to reach Playa de Borizu and follow the shore eastwards to an entrance to an isolated headland. Take the path on the left to reach the gate leading to the headland.
(4) Turn right. Continue to the end of the headland.
(5) At the end of the headland path, admire the view from Castro Troenzo. Swimming is possible at Playa Tayada: there are several (fairly steep) descents. This is a secluded beach where wearing a swimsuit is not recommended. Return to the gate via the same route.
(4) Go straight ahead, join the street (and the GR® 204) without following the coastal path along the campsite, which is dangerous and leads to a dead end
(6) Continue along the street (GR® 204) to the right, passing two campsites, and find Playa de Barru by turning right after the campsite.
(7) Return to the starting point via the same route (S/E).
