(S/E) From the town hall car park, head towards the village centre in the direction of the church. Turn left, then follow the road straight on towards the Saint-Antoine State Forest. Follow the Pierre-Bach forest track uphill towards La Verrerie until you reach a Fork in the road.
(1) Turn right onto a forest track. Cross a bridge over the Doue de l’Eau and continue to the left until you reach a dirt track. Follow this track, keeping to the left, up to the Verrerie bridge.
(2) Turn right onto the Vinel forest road and climb through the woods. Then turn right. At a sharp left-hand bend, leave the track and continue straight ahead along a grassy path. You’ll come out onto a small road leading to the chapel; follow it uphill to the left. At the crossroads, you’ll reach the entrance to the Saint-Blaise Chapel.
(3) Reach the chapel by heading up to the left.
(4) Return to the previous junction.
(3) Continue to the left along a steep path through the woodland and, keeping straight ahead, you’ll come out onto the road linking Miellin to Belfahy at the Loge bridge.
(5) Follow this road uphill, then at a left-hand bend, turn right onto a path leading downhill. Ignore a path on the left. Leave this path and turn right onto a path leading downhill through the spruce plantations. At the Fork in the road, turn left to come out onto a road near the Henry sawmill.
(6) Follow the road to the right, then right again. At the cross, carry on straight ahead and return to the village of Miellin. Then turn left towards the town hall (S/E).
