Car park at the Brandes leisure area on the outskirts of Soyaux towards Périgueux.
(S/E) Return to the car park entrance and take the Route du Grand Lac. After the wide right-hand bend, you will come to a crossroads at the entrance to the hamlet.
(1) Turn right towards the south, cross Le Grand Lac and then the meadows until you reach the first woods.
(2) Ignore the lane that continues straight ahead along the edge of the woods (this is the return route) and turn right onto the path that leads into the woods.
Please note: you are crossing private land, so please respect the property.
After a few hundred metres to the west, the path turns left, south, then comes to a four-way intersection.
(3) Turn right, cross the woods and follow a plot of land at the edge of the woods. The path descends towards the road that runs alongside the Anguienne and joins a crossroads in a bend in the Route des Moulins.
(4) Cross (with caution) and follow the road opposite, heading west, which runs alongside the Anguienne. At the viaduct, turn left to cross the Anguienne, pass under the viaduct and arrive at a crossroads.
(5) Take the path on the far left, heading south-east and following the Anguienne. The path rejoins the Route des Moulins near a small bridge.
(6) Leave the bridge on your left and follow the road to the right, along the edge towards Le Gôt. Cross the area known as Moulin du Gôt, arrive at the Pony Club grounds and, a few dozen metres after leaving the area, you will find the start of the paths on the left below the road.
(7) Leave the path on the far left and take the road that leads to Moulin de Baloge.
Pass in front of the mill and follow the road that climbs up to the Soyaux plateau. You will come back to the crossroads you passed on the way there.
(2) Cross the village of Grand Lac and retrace your steps along the path you took on the way there until you reach the car park at the Brandes leisure area (S/E).
