Town hall car park.
(S/E) Head towards the town hall overlooking the car park. Take Rue des Gauchons before the level crossing. Leave it after 200 metres and take Chemin des Vignes on the left.
(1) After the tunnel, follow the path parallel to the railway line on the right and climb for 800 metres, ignoring two paths that branch off.
(2) At the top of the hill, turn right onto Chemin des Chaumes, which descends to Rue des Gauchons after passing the railway line.
(3) Turn left. Pass the hamlet of Les Varennes. At the next intersection, take Rue des Varennes on the left, which then turns right and immediately left onto Route de Trotte-Renard. Continue to the next fork.
(4) Leave it and follow Chemin des Écureuils on the right. Turn left before the quarries. Climb up towards the hamlet of Trotte-Renard. Leave the hamlet via the path on the right.
(5) On the descent, enter the woods on the left. Follow the white path at the edge of the woods that runs alongside the quarry for about 700 metres.
(6) In the valley, leave the white path and take the beautiful maple-lined path on the right that climbs towards the hamlet of Peu Sec. Walk past the houses and descend towards the RD 410.
(7) Cross the road carefully and follow the path opposite, which climbs towards Les Champs. At the end of the hamlet, cross the RD 23 carefully and take the path opposite, which descends.
(8) Turn right after the Rochejoubert stream.
(9) Before the road, climb left onto the Mont Gaudier path, which joins the GR®.
(10) At the crossroads, turn right, continue straight ahead at the next junction, then follow the path on the right that descends towards Touvre. Cross the D23 and continue opposite until you reach the Pontil road. Turn right to reach the town hall car park (S/E).
