The Rock of Cairo
The great cliff of Rocher du Caire rises above Rémuzat. Look up and you'll see griffon vultures flying over the valley.
Please note that a hiker has informed us that a municipal by-law (posted at the top) prohibits hiking in the opposite direction.

Loop from Buisson to Villedieu
A loop through vineyards and olive groves that allows you to visit two magnificent villages in the Vaucluse.
Essaillon Mountain
A very beautiful hike starting from Nyons. The route follows mostly marked trails (GR®9and yellowPR® markings) through oak and boxwood undergrowth. The scent of thyme often accompanies us. Much of the walk is along the ridge, offering beautiful views of Nyons, the Eygues valley and Mont Ventoux. Magnificent viewpoint at Garde Grosse
Tour of Buègue Mountain
This hike allows you to visit a pretty village and the remains of one of the oldest abbeys in Gaul, as well as enjoy the landscapes of the Drôme.
With a bit of luck, the vultures of Rocher du Caire will accompany you along the way.
Le Léoux via the Saint-May Gorges and Bodon Abbey
A magnificent hike to enjoy in all seasons, accompanied by the sound of the Léoux waterfalls, the flight of vultures and impressive landscapes.
A pleasant climb on a stony path along the Léoux to reach the ridge, then a breathtaking panorama on the way back. Take your time, open your eyes, look for the vultures in flight and admire the landscape of these mountains sculpted by time.
Monts d'Autuche
A rugged hike offering magnificent views from a rocky outcrop.
Panoramic looping route through the Bois des Abrigeaux
Not far from Vaison-La-Romaine, the upper reaches of the village of Buisson offer a balcony route for most of this itinerary. On minor roads, forest tracks and paths, between vineyards and undergrowth, walkers can admire the Aygues valley, the Lance mountain and those of the Baronnies provençales, the distinctive skyline drawn by Mont Ventoux, the Saint Amand ridge and the Dentelles de Montmirail, while in the foreground, crops and hedges offer a lush bocage landscape.
Circular between Buisson and Villedieu
A hike through vineyards and the pretty villages of Buisson and Villedieu, along the Eygues Valley. You can also admire the Notre-Dame d'Argelier chapel in this lush natural setting. An easy hike suitable for the whole family in all seasons.
Col de Croix Rouge - Col de la Croix - Garde Grosse
This loop of around 27 km, with no major difficulties and regular climbs, allows you to discover the Nyons region and its most famous peak, Garde Grosse. The paved roads are quiet, except for cyclists. In spring, there are a few streams where you can cool off.
Col Flachet from Nyons
A relatively easy mountain bike ride, although a little technical on the descent to Combe Sauve. There is little traffic on the paved sections. You will ride through broom and goats, if they are out, and can stop at Col Flachet to enjoy the view, as it will be too late afterwards, as the descent is through oak trees.
