Étang du Hénant walks

The city of painters is nestled at the bottom of an aber, where the sea becomes a torrential river. Downstream, the tides create a landscape that varies according to the tidal range. At low tide, mudflats cover a large part of the foreshore, while at high tide, the sea creeps into the heart of the woods, which form a green backdrop to the sea tongues overlooked by ancient pollarded trees.
