From the Fierney cable car to Crêt de la Neige

(S/E) From the upper station of the Fierney cable car (altitude 1,300 m), take the path marked in purple, which winds its way under the Télécombi des Bergers. Be careful when crossing the slopes. First, cross the blue Clarines slope, then, continuing the ascent, the snowshoe trail crosses the blue Prés slope and goes around the ridge to reach the top of the Télécombi des Bergers at an altitude of 1600 m.

(1) At the summit of Monthoiseau, follow the Monthoisey along the Combe à Fournier on the rather hilly path and arrive at the edge of the green Anémones trail. Pick up the hiking trail (^PR®® Yellow) and enter the Nature Reserve.

(2) Turn left towards Grand Crêt (altitude 1,702 m). The first few metres are slightly uphill. Reach the ridges by cutting across the footpath, then follow the ridge, passing "sous le Crêt" and joining the^GR®® (red and white) which comes from Lélex.

(3) Continue straight on to the highest point of Crêt de la Neige (1,718 metres).

(4) The return journey follows the same route as the outward journey to the upper station of the Fierney cable car (S/E).

Open from 15 December to 30 March, subject to the opening of the Fierney cable car.

The car park is located in Crozet, at the start of the cable car.

If you are starting this route from the top of the Fierney cable car, you will need a ticket. You can buy one directly on site or online on the website.

Dogs are not permitted on this route.

Wear clothing suitable for the season and conditions (cold, hot, wet, etc.).
Wear hiking boots that are suitable for the terrain (even for children!).
Use hiking poles (useful for stability and to relieve pressure on the joints).
Bring a mobile phone and a spare battery.
Take a bottle of water or a flask, and something to eat.
