Coming from Le Boulou, the starting point is a car park on the right just before the bridge over the Tech, in the direction of Llauro (D615).
(S/E) With your back to the Tech, take Rue de l'Ermitage directly opposite.
(1) At the end of this street, climb up an embankment (old railway line) to continue opposite on Chemin de Vivès. Continue on this road for 2.5 km until you reach a crossroads, near the castle grounds.
(2) Go up to the left towards the old wine cellars. Admire the west façade of the château.
(3) Walk around the castle , admiring the old orangery, which is unfortunately in very poor condition.
(4) Turn right after the left-hand bend in the road, then right again after 150 m. Finish going around the park and return to the crossroads you passed on the way there.
(2) Turn left onto Allée du Château. Continue for about 300 metres.
(5) Turn right onto Chemin de Sainte-Marguerite, which runs alongside the D115. Pass in front of a large brewery (which you can visit).
(6) About 200 metres after the roundabout on the D115, leave Chemin de Sainte-Marguerite on the left. Take the greenway (former railway line) and return to the intersection at the start of the walk.
(1) Retrace your steps back to the car park (S/E).
