A short round-trip walk from the Moulin de Kervilio in the commune of Le Bono to the Pointe de Kerisper in the commune of Pluneret. The route follows the River Bono to its confluence with the River Auray, passing through the port and across the old suspension bridge. Description of the walk

A very small car park in the village of Plougoumelen can accommodate a few vehicles, just upstream of the Moulin de Kervilio bridge on Rue du 5 Août 1944. The car park is unmarked and appears to serve as a bus stop (check this information if you plan to travel by public transport).

(S/E) Follow Rue du 5 Août 1944 to the Moulin de Kervili.

(1) The signposted path starts immediately on your right after you’ve passed it. From there, it’s hard to miss. It follows the Rivière du Bono on the left bank to its suspension bridge.

(2) Take the steps up to the suspension bridge, then cross it. The path to follow branches off to the left, just after the bridge. Then continue to follow the Rivière du Bono, this time on the right bank, until it flows into the Rivière d’Auray at Pointe de Kerisper.

(3) At Pointe de Kerisper, admire the Rivière d’Auray; in the distance, you can see the N165 bridge and the Port of Saint-Goustan. At this point, an ancient aqueduct once crossed the Rivière d’Auray! Turn back, following the outward route in the opposite direction to the car park (S/E).
