A lovely walk, apart from a short stretch of tarmac towards the end, but the route is superb, varied and peaceful, with some lovely views and magnificent scenery. Part of it runs through woodland – we even came across a deer – and there are plenty of pastures with sheep and horses. I highly recommend this route, which is very well laid out, well-maintained and mown, with picnic tables and benches, and presents no difficulty whatsoever.
