Starting from the hamlet of Mont-Sainte-Marie (chapel and old square tower), the route heads towards Granpré Abbey, where you can see the buildings and magnificent gardens before crossing and then following the Samson river.
After a long stretch through the forest, the route emerges at the old Sart-Mère farm, where you can enjoy a beautiful view of Faux-les-Tombes.
Further on, a short detour into a meadow allows you to see the turrets of the Château de Faulx-les-Tombes.
Next, head towards Mozet and its magnificent local stone buildings.
The walk then crosses the plateau between Mozet and Loyers and reaches the Ferme de Basseilles, from where you simply head back up to the starting point.
This walk alternates between forests and countryside in the 'Fête de Mai' area of the Namur Condroz. The route allows you to discover some of the works of art created over time since the beginning of the 21st century. You can admire the works 'Mange-Bois', 'Cathédrale de Lumière', 'Je suis furieux', 'Parle Papote Chhhuuuuut', 'Cairn de Feu' and 'Serpon-Dragent'.
