Departure from the Chapel of Mont Sainte-Marie.
(S/E) Take the road that climbs towards the woods.
(1) Once you enter the woods, at the crossroads, continue straight ahead on the path that descends slightly.
(2) At the bottom of the path, turn left and follow the path straight ahead. On the left, you will see a cave below and a small stream a little further on. Keep heading north-east.
(3) At the end of the path, turn left in front of a farm shed and take Chemin d'Arville. Turn right onto Les Nooz and, at the three-way junction, turn left and cross a crossroads.
(4) Turn right onto Rue Basse Ramée, which ends in a cul-de-sac and is extended by a path that leads into the woods.
(5) The path veers slightly to the left to go around a wetland and reach a small wooden bridge. In dry weather, you can venture to the lake. Walk along the fields bordering Arville Castle.
(6) When the path leaves the woods, take the path on the right that climbs slightly, cross a road and continue in a north-westerly direction.
(7) After passing a farm on your left, take the path on the right that cuts across the fields to reach the woods.
(1) Turn onto the first path on the left, which will take you back to the starting point by retracing the first section of the walk in the opposite direction (S/E).
