From Gaillergues to Saint-Vincent-d'Olargues

Park in the Gaillergues car park, near the greenway (accessible via the D908).

(S/E) Start the hike by taking the greenway on the left (with the antennas behind you), towards Olargues, heading east. Continue on the greenway opposite, then turn right and go straight ahead. Go to the track on the left.

(1) Go up to stay on the track and enjoy the views throughout the climb. You will arrive at an intersection.

(2) Take the small path on the left. A little further on, it joins a new track and an intersection.

(3) At the fork, take the path on the right and pass in front of a chapel. Continue until you reach the Place de l'Église.

(4) After the church, take Chemin de Sauteyro, which leads back to the intersection you passed on the way up.

(2) Descend and enjoy the views during the descent to return to the starting point via the same route as on the way there (S/E).

The cemetery cross.
The cemetery cross of Saint-Vincent is a listed historical monument. Dating from^{the 15th-16th} century, it is thought to be the work of the Knights of Saint John of Jerusalem, whose commandery included the present church. Richly ornamented, it is carved on all four sides. To see it, ask for the key at the town hall or from Mrs Fontes, whose house is next to the church, when the town hall is closed.
