In the Robehomme marshes

Park in the car park at Robehomme church.

(S/E) Take the small path leading to Chemin Faudy. Walk past the church on the left, heading north-east. You will come to a fork.

(1) At the first yellow marker, turn right and take the first road on the left. Before the farm, turn onto the gravel track on the right. At the end, take the road on the right, Chemin de l'Anguille.

(2) At the next junction, take Rue de l’Église on the right, then the first path on the left, which runs alongside fields and a farm and joins Chemin du Bas.

(3) Follow it to the D224: be careful, as cars use this road, unlike the other paths.

(4) Follow it to the right for about 250 m.

(5) Take Rue de la Vieille Cavée on the right until you reach a Tiny House.

(6) Turn onto the small path on the left, which overlooks the horizon.

(7) At the end of this path, near a wayside shrine, turn left onto the road leading back down to the D224. Turn right onto it: be careful, as there is also traffic.

(8) Take the Chaussée du Grand Marais on the right, at the glass recycling bin, and continue along this long straight stretch through the marshes, past the storks and swans.

(9) After passing a property, turn onto the path on the right which climbs up Robehomme Hill and rejoins Chemin Faudy.

(1) Turn right and, following the route back in the opposite direction to the outward journey, return to the church car park (S/E).
