Start from the Albon cemetery car park.
(S/E) From the car park, turn left, walk past the buildings and then turn right onto Rue des Hauts de Saint-Romain. After about 100 m, turn right, pass to the left just in front of the building and continue to the right through the garden, then descend to the left. When you reach Rue du Mas, turn left. Continue as the road follows the stream (Le Bancel).
(1) About 100 metres after entering the woods, turn left onto the yellow-marked path (x) and leave the road on your right. The narrow path at the beginning becomes a wider path. Be careful not to follow the path that branches off to the right. Climb the steep slope to the D301 and turn right.
(2) Take thesecond path on the left. When you reach Route de la Tour, turn right. At thesecond house, turn left. Continue straight ahead on the winding path until you reach a track and follow it to the left.
(3) Leave the path that makes a hairpin turn and turn right. Pass in front of the building and the large antenna. Continue straight ahead on the plateau, passing under a power line, until you reach an intersection.
(4) Turn left along the hedge of bushes and trees. After about 150 m, you have two options:
- continue and turn right 200 m further on
- or go straight down to the right as shown on the map. Pass in front of the farm and continue downhill, returning to the path.
(5) Just before the next farm, turn left downhill onto the path along the stream and turn left again at the X-shaped junction. Continue, ignoring thefirst path on the left.
(6) Take thesecond path on the left. Continue straight ahead for about 350 metres. At the Y-junction, take the right-hand branch. Leave the path that branches off to the right, continue straight ahead for about 1 kilometre and pass the hamlet of Les Percivaux.
(7) Turn right atthe first junction. Continue for about 300 metres and turn left at the end of the orchard before the slight bend in the path. Follow thefirst bend to the right, then thesecond to the left, and then be careful not to take thefirst right-hand turn downhill, but the one directly opposite, which stays on the plateau. Continue along the path that runs along the edge of the woods and goes around a building, then downhill towards a farm.
(8) Please note! Before the farm, turn left onto a grassy path that is not very visible, with a hedge of trees on the right and the forest on the left. It turns slightly to the right and then goes back up along the edge of the woods. At the path leading to the farm, turn right.
(9) After about 250 metres, just after the buildings, turn right onto the Anneyron road and turn left after about 800 metres.
(10) When you reach the Y-junction, take the left fork onto Rue Epaone, which turns slightly to the left, then take the Route de la Vittonière on the left, set back about 250 m, to reach the cemetery car park (S/E).
